Jim Prusak

Service years: 2022-2024

“Jim was very civic minded. His personal goal was always to give back or to help improve upon what had already existed. Be it City beautification, Rotary, consulting, or the PLAA. Becoming a PLAA board member was by happenstance. We had attended a social gathering in 2018, shortly after moving to the lake. We met several Pike Lake couples there and got to chatting. Intros led to work background, which very quickly lead to PLAA membership and board involvement for Jim. His engineering background was a good fit. The bonus was getting to know the other Pike Lake residents who became friends. Jim found joy in work with the board doing everything from water analysis to serving at the July 4th pancake breakfast. His involvement made Pike Lake feel like home.”
